Jake is an adventurer who combines his love for exploration with his passion for the arts.

His debut book Curious Companions was launched on 20th March 2009 at the IndiaArt Gallery, Pune, India.
On the night people also came to see his first solo exhibition in India, a series of large semi-abstract oils on canvas inspired by the landscapes through which he passed during the four month journey and a collection of charcoal drawings depicting a diverse selection of people he met as he passed through the thirteen countries.

Also on display was a twelve minute video created to give a glimpse into the experience of such an adventure.

The launch of Curious Companions in Kenmare was a great success. Jake is now working on expanding the exhibition for three shows in Dublin, Cork and Galway next year. Please check back for confirmed dates...
